Comment on Blog Footer Plugin for Word Press by JAHbInI

Greetings Johan.

Yes, my hack to David's plugin is this: His plugin widget put the html text down at the bottom of each post, like where the author and date are put (ahead of the comments, I believe).

Mine puts the widget text down in the page footer. Why would I want this instead of just modifying the footer.php? Sigh. I have several blogs running out of the same directory. Selecting the differing blogs is easy with a small change to the configuration file to select the database from the incoming URI. I also use 'sandbox' based themes for all of my blogs (some don't even look like blogs) and so I don't want to hack the footer.php because it is shared among all those blogs.

There is ONE problem that I've identified (but have been too lazy to fix). If you use both David's and mine at the same time, they clash in that they use the same option to save the HTML. A small problem, but there it is.

Glad to answer your questions, and if you have any more, just ask.

Hi It was very difficult to find a blog footer plugin using Google. But I am glad to have found you. I have two questions:

1) I noticed that David Goldstein disappeared from the face of the internet. This is the only place where you can down load his plugin http://www.wp-plugins-db.org/plugin/2007/09/page/2/
2) I am not sure what you mean by this "change the code to put the text at the bottom rather than at the end of each post." Does it mean that your code puts the footer at the end of all comments and other stuff you may have and the original puts it above these below the article only?
Regards
Johan

Thanks for sharing. Your comments show much contemplation and foresight.

Did you realize that in english, it is appropriate to have one topic in a paragraph. Your paragraphs don't seem to have that attribute. Why so you think that could be?

And yes, I think the Chomorro people are wonderful, just short-changed.

Oh, forgot to tell you. Your newspaper was so embarrassed by the original article, that they seemed to substitute another article for the original. I guess that is what you mean by my not understanding. I apologize for that action on the part of the Marianas Variety. I'll try to track down the original.

Umm. There is no attempt to hide my name. It's in plain sight. Maybe I should since you will be "waiting for me."

You are an idiot. This website makes no sense at all, and your writing sucks. If you're such a DI loyalist, why don't you learn how to read articles. You did not comprehend a single thing that Elwin Quitano wrote.

Where are you writing from, a hole in the ground? It looks like everything here is written by you, which says alot about those who agree with your ramblings.

Guam is a wonderful place. The next time you write, kindly place your real name so that we'll be waiting for you in Guam. Or, better yet, we'll research who you are and visit you sometime soon.

Good luck to you. And, the next time you write negatively about Guam, keep in mind that there are thousands of Chamorros in your neighborhood!

Much thanks, although it's pretty much the 'lilypad' theme. I'm not much of a graphic designer. No brag, just fact.

You don't sound too sure of yourself, Dan. That's a common complaint nowadays, being so unsure.

Check out the works of M. Erickson or Jay Haley. These guys were really big about learning and the learning state(s) of babies. You might also want to look at "the Psycho - biology of Mind Body Healing" by Dr. Ernest Rossi.

All this is not to prove you wrong, but to give us some starting points into better methods to proceed.
